Employment Accommodations Resource Center (EARC)

Mission Statement

The mission of the Employment Accommodations Resource Center (EARC) is to recommend appropriate and reasonable employment accommodations for qualified employees with disabilities. The EARC works closely with employees with disabilities and their supervisors; as well as, with Human Resources and Faculty Affairs to ensure that SJSU continues to comply with Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California Fair Employment Housing Act (FEHA).

EARC Vision

“Building an Inclusive Workforce”

The Employment Accommodations Resource Center (EARC) will build an inclusive workforce which encompasses an awareness of accommodating employees with disabilities. The EARC will promote the recruitment, employability and retention of individuals with disabilities by taking a leadership role in promoting a knowledge base to the campus community through training, education and awareness.
